Governors Vacancy

Northern Education Trust is looking to invite new Governors to a Combined Academy Council of two secondary academies: The Grangefield Academy, TS18 4LE, and North Shore Academy, TS20 2AY.

Our Vision

We constantly focus on standards as we understand outcomes are paramount. Our decision making is driven entirely by what is best for children. By doing this we will enhance the life chances of the children and young people in our care. Outcomes Focused, Child Centred.

The Trust and the Academy

We are looking for new governors to join an established Combined Academy Council with Northern Education Trust. We need governors who will have the drive and determination to get the best for the children and young people in their care.

We can offer you:

  • A family of schools within the Trust and a set of values we all share
  • Support for your role in an Academy Council
  • Well- resourced school environments with well- behaved pupils who are keen to learn
  • Good relationships and loyalty with pupils, parents, carers and the wider community

This is an excellent opportunity for people to find somewhere in their local community they can provide invaluable voluntary support, care and guidance. Work with us to build something very special for the children and young people and the communities we seek to serve.

For further information please contact Dawn Ellis E: [email protected] for an application form. Visits to the schools and informal discussions are encouraged, please ring 01642 353637 to arrange an appointment.

We are committed to safeguarding pupils, and all Governors will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.

If you are enthusiastic and have a love of learning we look forward to hearing from you.
